I've taken to cuffing a few pairs of my jeans into capris because they shrank after I bought them and even though the river is rising, I'll pass on wearing "floods."
I'm just under 5' 9." To many people that is tall.
In my day-to-day life in western Colorado, I'll even say that I'm tall.
Whenever I'm around my mom's family, I'm reminded that I'm not.
Here's the proof. This is a picture of me with my brother (he's to my left in the hat) and my cousins.

Wow! Did y'all grow up near a nuclear power plant? J/K. That's my jealousy talking. My dad is 6'2" and my mom is 4'11" so I am smack in the middle at 5'4".
ReplyDeleteDang ... if I saw that group coming I'd be scared of getting trampled! Sorry you're so short. Wear heels next time.
ReplyDeleteI like to say that we come from hearty peasant stock.
ReplyDeleteI am the shortest member of my family at 5'3", cousins included. Hmfph! My Grandpa plays for the US Masters Olympic Volleyball team and he is 6'2'. Not sure what happened there.
ReplyDeleteIf your cousins were to visit your house they would all be fighting over who had the tallest mark on your wall!

I told my cousins that I needed some girls up there in the "tall guys" section of the height wall. Maybe now they'll come to Colorado.
ReplyDeleteI married the runt of the litter......Thank God!
