No more Nut-Nut

Saturday a woman came to our door and asked if we had a cat with a yellow collar.

A young man was crouched down at the corner of our yard petting our dear Frida Nut-Nut.

He said a white truck hit her. She ran to our yard and collapsed.

And just like that our crazy, evil, curious, delightful kitty was gone.

We miss you, Frida Nut-Nut. Rest in peace.

So sorry to here about your kitty :( Last year I lost my kitty, Freak, because of him getting into the neighbors garden, which we eventually found out she laid out rat poison that he got into. My heart goes out to you.

Thank you Chris. We are all so sad about Frida and miss her desperately. But my daughter is taking it the hardest. Frida was the first kitten she remembers having (Frida was only two years old) and Frida was always hanging around with Margaret. She'd get into Margaret's baby carriage and Mar would push her around. She was a very special kitty.

I'm so sorry Robin. That's awful. Please tell Margaret I'm sorry for her. I remember finding my dead cats and it was always horribly traumatic. I remember each one. Cats are special.

Yes, a very unfortunate happening that doesn't get any easier to deal with no matter what your age. Sorry for your loss.
