For her wedding

I made my daughter a promise at lunch today.

I vowed that on or around her wedding day, I would be displaying this picture:

Charming, no?

She laughed and suggested that I would never remember. I promised her that I would. I then tapped my head and told Mar that my mind was like a steel trap (Ha! A rusted, old steel trap used to pick up poop.)

Then she tried the old "I point my blue crayon at her" fear tactic:
I'm not threatened by her stick o' wax.

I will remember that picture AND I will have it blown up huge and carry it with me from rehearsal dinner to the ceremony to the reception.

Or I'll forget about it just like the little puke said ... it's like she knows me or something.

I know y'all hear this all the time, but that kid of yours is nothing short of delightful. If I thought I could have one anything like her, I might be more enthused about having one of my own, but, alas, 'tis but one Margaret in the world.

I'm envisioning one of those sappy (yet endearing) slide shows played at the reception with all kinds of bathtub and highchair pictures, followed by the soooo Bershon teen photos. Do it. I'll help you.

You have to put all the good ones in a special folder. I have a shoebox full for mine..
