First day of third grade

Margaret started third grade yesterday.

She's attending a brand new school.

The first day of school is always hectic and discombobulating, but we all survived. Last night as she was tumbling into bed exhausted, she said she couldn't wait to go back today (phew!).

I interviewed Margaret about her first day at the new school. Here's what she had to say.

Poor baby is siting in front of a WINDOWS computer. What kind of third-world school are you sending her to? Does she have to assemble shoes at recess?

She loves worksheets??

She might make a good accountant. Ask her if she cares to do my taxes next year.

Daniel: We called Steve Jobs about throwing down some iMacs for the new school. But he was all, "Where the hell is Grand Junction?" and proceeded to spill YooHoo on his black sweater.

Slick: Yes, but she only takes payment in Nintendo DS games.

Rivetergirl,
You know Woz used to teach school under an assumed name. Perhaps you try him instead of Jobs.

Shonda: I did actually know that about Woz because I saw it on Kathy Griffin's show ... uh, what I meant was, that's a good idea.
