Kids are dirty

This is probably the most restrained blog post I've ever written.

I so wanted to give a description of this woman, include the name of the restaurant and the kids' names.

It took every ounce of willpower to just make my point and leave it alone.

I guess the moral of the story is: If you don't know how to act in public, stay home.

Wow...your willpower won out.

Very well written.

And I agree, I'd be embarrassed for her and upset at the same time.

I'm always stumped when I witness that kind of behavoir but once....a long time ago, when I was younger and braver.....I was having dinner at a lovely place with a couple of friends when a young couple and a toddler came in to eat. This was later in the evening....about 8:00...who in their right mind would take a toddler out that time of night???
anyway.....the child was fussy right from the begining and the parents just ignored him.....didn't work....he escalated to the point where he was screaming at his parents "I'm calling the police" ????? needless the say, the tension in the room was unbearable.....after this had been going on for 20-30 minutes I just couldn't stand it anymore and I went over to the couple and said "Do you realize you are ruining everyone's dinner here??" They just looked at me so I added " It's time to take that child home and leave us in peace"...they did get up and go....when they were outside there was a lot of applause. Now looking back I'm not sure how I feel about it.......I'm still torn :-) a little... a very little :-)
